It Arrives
So the appliance arrived today, and while it obviously needs a lot of work, the general condition is not as bad as i thought,
The only really bad parts as far as rust are on the front (red) area as that is made of steel.
The pump on the rear will need to be overhauled and all the water hoses have been cut by previous owner.
It will be a long road but in the end we feel it will be worth it.

History
This 1966 Commer was brand new when it became part of the Porirua Fire Brigade fleet.
It had a Gwynne Pump with a 38 L/s pumping capacity, and a 900 L tank.
This pump was at Porirua untill the arrival of the International appliance in 1972.
THE PLAN
It is the plan of the members to restore this appliance to its former 1966 Glory.
